WAYS TO GET
INVOLVED
ADVERTISE | EXHIBIT | SPONSOR
Connect with Texas DECA students, advisors, and professionals by advertising using our state communication channels, exhibiting at one of our conferences or events, or placing your brand right in the middle of everything as a sponsor.
Our sponsorship packages feature opportunities at our State Career Development Conference as well as ways to get involved with our members throughout the year.
We’d like to help your brand make an impact on our members. If you don’t see something in our Partnership Opportunities that fits what you’d like to do, let us know. We’d be happy to work with you to create something that’s perfect for your brand!
SPONSOR A COMPETITIVE EVENT
An integral assessment tool, DECA’s Competitive Events Program is critical to our mission of preparing the next generation of emerging leaders and entrepreneurs. Place your brand in the center of our conference as members participate in role plays and presentations, competing to EARN their spot as a representative of Texas DECA at the International Career Development Conference. Sponsor’s brand will be placed on awards, signage, and included in the program. Event sponsors also have the opportunity to stand onstage during their sponsored competitive event and assist in congratulating those students who qualify for the International Career Development Conference. To sponsor an event, companies must commit to providing 10 volunteers to judge the event.
VOLUNTEER AS A COMPETITIVE EVENT JUDGE
Sit across the from students as they present their ideas and solutions to real-world business problems. Students have prepared all year and look forward to this moment as they work to earn a spot at the International Career Development Conference. Students will utilize all the presentation, professional development, and critical thinking skills they’ve learned over the year, as well as the knowledge they’ve gained in their career cluster to present truly innovative ideas.
We have virtual and in-person judging opportunities. Click the link below to learn more about what it means to be a competitive event judge and when and where we need volunteers!
